What is Pixovi
How is Pixovi different from say, Netflix and Blockbuster-On Demand?
If we were to compare Pixovi to another company or platform many tend to do so with a comparison between Pixovi and Netflix, or Pixovi and Blockbuster VOD or Vudu. A much more accurate comparison of the versatility, robustness and overall value provided to both a viewer/member and a content creator and provider is a comparison between Pixovi and DirectV, or Pixovi and BskyB and other satellite networks.
Netflix and the other platforms previously mentioned are simply a platform that provides movies accessible via streaming. The member either logs onto their account through the Netflix web portal or via their set-top-box player, and really the only decision or capability they have is to pick a movie and watch it. Pixovi is a broadcast network, allowing hundreds of "Netflix's" to be housed on the Pixovi Movie Network. Not only can members choose from a large variety of movies to watch through our On-Demand catalogue, but they can directly interact with other members on the network, choose to participate in a LIVE broadcast of a filmmakers panel at a convention or film festival, or tune into any channel to view scheduled programming. (we need to stress that we consciously use the term 'members' and not subscribers because Pixovi movies and events are purchased on a pay-as-you-go model, a much more flexible and cost-effective model for members)
From a content creator, or Affiliate Distributor, standpoint, Pixovi offers much more than Netflix can. Netflix offers a platform to release a couple titles through a VOD platform, Pixovi does that and much more. With Pixovi, Affiliate Distributors can operate and manage their own VOD network, one that is fully brandable, and allows them the control to not only offer titles from their library for VOD play-back, but also allows them to run their own broadcast channel. Distributors can operate their channel like any premium satellite channel, and with Pixovi's platforms including online, mobile and set-top-box, they can truly reach a global audience. Key added-value features Pixovi provides all Affiliate Distributors include the ability to produce private screenings, or test screenings. This can include a private screening of a film, or it can be a pre-recorded or LIVE audition broadcast to a studio screening room located anywhere in the world.
How do I get my movie on the Pixovi Movie Network?

The Pixovi film submission process is straight forward:
1. Submit the film information for review. (http://pixovi.com/page/submit-film-s)
2. Once approved for the network, a Pixovi representative will send you instructions to get us the film and other materials (poster art, marketing materials, trailer etc.)
3. We will send you the contract that spells out the terms of the agreement.
4. Once the agreements are signed, your movie is activated on the network and ready for viewing by Pixovi members.
Where is Pixovi available?
Pixovi can be accessed from anywhere in the world and at anytime during the day. Members can watch movie on the Pixovi Movie Network through our online VOD portals, on their mobile device or sitting in the comfort of their own home by accessing a Pixovi set-top-box application. Pixovi truly reaches a global audience.
Does Pixovi manage individual film titles?
Yes. In fact, the majority of the movie titles offered on the Pixovi Movie Network were produced by independent filmmakers. Pixovi manages several different channels on the network that stream films produced by filmmakers or independent production companies that do not have a large enough library of content to manage their own channel.

How do I manage my own broadcast and VOD channel?
The opportunity to manage and operate a channel on Pixovi is reserved for filmmakers or companies with a large library of titles or movie related content. Pixovi will vet a company or filmmaker to ensure there is enough content to run a channel. Once the filmmkaer or distributor is approved, they become an Affiliate Distributor of the Pixovi Movie Network. All channels are fully brand able.

Can I be a member even though I'm not a filmmaker or movie distributor?
Absolutely! Unlike Netflix and Blockbuster, Pixovi does not require a monthly subscription to be paid in order to use our movie viewing platforms. In fact, Pixovi members make up the majority of our everyday traffic, staying connected through the many interactive social networking capabilities of the network. Many members decide to be social and watch a movie in Pixovi Cinema so they can chat with friends and other network members.

Do I have to pay a monthly subscription in order to be a member?
NO. Pixovi is a pay-as-you-go network. Why pay $15/month and watch 1 or 2 movies, or maybe you don't watch any movies one month. We have made it as flexible and cost effective for our members as we have for our filmmakers and Affiliate Distributors. And all members can also enjoy all of the free content offered. If you watch 5 movies one month you pay for 5 movies. If you don't watch any movies, you pay nothing.
How is broadcasting content different from VOD content?
Pixovi is not only a VOD/PPV platform, but we also offer the capability for filmmakers and channel managers to produce LIVE broadcasts that can be viewed by members in real time, like watching TV, or recorded and re-aired at later dates and times on the network.
Live feeds from film festivals and movie awards ceremonies are aired for members to see filmmaker panels and interviews.
Channel managers also have the opportunity to produce and broadcast original programming made exclusively for the Pixovi Movie Network. Several channel operators are currently in development on projects anticipated to be produced for the network.
How do I view films or other content currently being broadcast LIVE on a channel?
A full channel lineup and schedule is always available and accessible in the navigation bar. Setup like a channel guide on satellite TV, members and visitors can look at the current days schedule or later dates to see when movies or other movie related programs are going to be aired.
*The majority of movies are always available 24/7/365 via VOD and PPV. The scheduling is for channel broadcasts that are run like a premium satellite channel.

What is a "Pixovi World Premier"?
Pixovi World Premier is a film selected to premier on Pixovi across all platforms. All premiers are co-marketed and promoted by the filmmaker or distribution company Pixovi, much the same as a traditional studio theatrical release.
By producing a simultaneous release, utilizing all Pixovi platforms, we can maximize the marketing dollars and efforts put towards the release of the film. After the network engagement, the film is immediately available for purchase.
What is a "Private Screening"?
Private Screenings allow a filmmaker or Affiliate Distributor to run a test screening of a film prior to release, to get feedback in order to make any changes or edits they feel will make the film more appealing to their audience. Private screenings can target a specific demographic or global region, allowing only members that fall into that category to view the film.
Private screenings can also be utilized by a filmmaker looking for distribution for a completed film. Pixovi will work with the filmmakers to arrange a private screening with studio executives to view the film and interact with them, getting feedback before, during and after the screening.
What is Pixovi Mobile?
Pixovi Mobile is our mobile applications that allow members to access our vast libarary of movie titles while on the go, anywhere. Members can simply download the Pixovi Movie Network app on their mobile devices, instantly giving them the key to unlocking the wonderful world of Pixovi!
What is Pixovi Set-Top-Box
Available through the popular Roku media box, Pixovi Movie Network's set-top-box applications were designed to easily broadcast and deliver LIVE streaming, VODs, and channel lineups in HD “over the top” directly to the set-top-boxes as well as to our streaming sites simultaneously.
Filmmakers and Affiliate Distributors now have the ability to schedule content and broadcast their HD media directly into the living rooms of their audience through the set-top-box; quickly, easily and without purchasing proprietary hardware.
Does Pixovi distribute films to movie theaters?
YES! Pixovi Theatrical has the capabilities of creating Digital Cinema Packages (DCP) and generating KDM keys for delivery to theaters around the world. We offer this as a fulfillment service but also acquire and distribute films under our own shingle.
How do I stay informed with new movies and events occurring on the Pixovi Movie Network?
In addition to the many solutions we have on the main website addressing new announcements, new films and new channels, Pixovi also distributes a monthly e-newsletter to all members. The e-newsletter informs all members of current events pertaining to the Pixovi Movie Network, as well as new movies, channels and events now available on the network. As a member, you are automatically enrolled in the monthly e-newsletter.

How do I broadcast LIVE so my channel followers can tune in?
IN order to broadcast LIVE on your channel you must first download the PIXOVI HD Broadcaster.
Once downloaded, the broadcaster can choose to produce a LIVE broadcast or record it and air it at a later date. Detailed instructions can be reviewed in the Pixovi User Manual.
If there is a problem with the movie stream, do I get a refund?
Yes. If there was a problem with the stream, and it was due to an issue with the film or on the PIxovi side, a refund can be initiated, or the stream will be provided free of charge once the issue has been corrected.
Can I brand my VOD Channel if I am an Affiliate Distributor?
Yes. All channels managed by Affiliate Distributors are designed to the look and feel of the distributors brand. Pixovi design teams assist with the branding.
How do I search for Movies?
There are several ways to search for movies on the network. You can use the "search" bar located at the top of the site.

You can search by genre by clicking on the genre of choice located in the "Categories" sections on the right side of the site.

You can also search for movies using the "Movies" and "Pay-Per-View" tabs located within the navigation bar.

Finally, members can view the most popular movies currently on the site by looking through the "Most Popular Movies" section located on the Lobby page of the site.

How do I search different Channels?
All Active channels currently on the network can be found within the "Channels" tab on the Lobby navigation bar.

What's the difference between "Movies" and "Pay-Per-View" sections?
The "Movies" tab in the navigation bar of the Lobby simply has a list of all movies, both free and PPV, that are currently available for stream on the network.
The PPV tab houses only films that must be purchased in order to activate a stream over the network.

What is Pixovi Cinema?
Pixovi Cinema brings the social aspect of going to the movies to a completely new dimension. Access to incredible movies on demand is one thing, but being able to share the "movie-going" experience with anyone, anywhere in the world is a unique and special experience.
Pixovi Cinema allows you to pick a seat in the theater, and either chat about the film in a public forum, or pick that special someone and chat in private about anything you want.
